Why VR?

Virtual Reality is the content delivery medium of the New Age. It’s an incredible experience that is attracting more and more attention as it develops. I’ve chosen to develop a project around a VR experience because of the medium’s potential for creation. It’s a chance to build a world that you can literally see, hear and stand in.

The Project

This project helps introduce a new way to be immersed in a story. An experience where visitors can step into worlds within worlds by reading an enchanted pop-up book that will let them shrink down, stand on the pages, and enter into the illustrations.

Players become a part of the classic fairytale, “Jack and the Beanstalk.” They plant the beans, climb toward the clouds, and look up at the menace of the Giant as he threatens to make his bread with their bones.

We’ve used this experience to explore the technology’s potential in the fields of education and storytelling, and to create opportunities for us to become part of the renaissance of this amazing technology.
